Hotel & Restaurant Zum Turm – Kaub am Rhine
1. Scope
These terms and conditions apply to all accommodation contracts concluded between the guest and Hotel & Restaurant Zum Turm in Kaub am Rhine, Germany. By making a reservation, the guest accepts these terms and conditions.
2. Reservation and Contract Conclusion
The accommodation contract becomes binding once a reservation has been made and confirmed by the hotel. Reservations may be made verbally, in writing, by telephone, online or by email.
Both contracting parties are obliged to fulfil the accommodation contract regardless of the duration of the stay.
3. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation fees will only be charged if the reserved room cannot be rebooked at short notice.
- Up to 28 days before arrival: free cancellation.
- Less than 28 days before arrival: 80% of the agreed room price will be charged.
- If an equivalent booking is made within 12 months, 60% of the cancellation costs may be credited towards the new booking.
- Any deviating agreements must be confirmed in writing.
4. Arrival and Departure
Rooms are available from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival.
On the day of departure rooms must be vacated by 11:00 AM.
Later departure times require prior agreement with the hotel. If the room is vacated after 1:00 PM, the hotel reserves the right to charge an additional night according to the applicable room rate.
5. Late Arrival
Guests arriving after 6:00 PM are kindly requested to inform the hotel.
For reservations made without credit card guarantee or written confirmation, the hotel reserves the right to release the reserved room after 6:00 PM.
6. Payment
The guest is obliged to pay the agreed price for accommodation and additional services used.
Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due upon departure.
7. Guest Requests
The hotel will make every effort to accommodate guest requests. However, especially for short-notice or online bookings, specific requests cannot always be guaranteed.
8. Non-Smoking Policy
All rooms at Hotel Zum Turm are strictly non-smoking rooms.
If guests smoke in the room or at an open window, a cleaning fee of €50 will be charged to cover additional cleaning costs.
If the room cannot be rented to subsequent guests due to heavy smoke smell, the hotel reserves the right to charge an additional night according to the applicable room rate.
9. Pets
Pets are only permitted upon prior agreement with the hotel. Additional charges may apply.
10. Force Majeure
The hotel reserves the right to withdraw from the accommodation contract in cases of force majeure or other circumstances beyond the hotel's control without any obligation to compensate the guest.
11. Liability
The hotel shall only be liable within the scope of the statutory provisions. Guests are responsible for damages caused by themselves or accompanying persons.
12. Applicable Law
German law shall apply. Place of jurisdiction, where legally permissible, is the location of the hotel.
